These tools serve as the optimal starting point for any search, as they align directly with the foundational underpinnings of the profession.
This database indexes therapy outcome information, published in peer-reviewed journals. Requires AOTA membership.
To promote EBP, AOTA has developed a number of resources to help members find and utilize clinically relevant literature to respond to both their clients’ needs and external demands for information from the scientific literature.

To search for practice guidelines within NIH's Institutes:
Select the Institute that pertains to your topic, e.g. the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS).
You can find practice guidelines by searching the websites of the Institutes within the National Institutes of Health network. Try using each website's "Search" feature to look for "clinical practice guidelines", "practice guidelines", or "guidelines".
