SOC 201 Cultural Anthropology Research Guide: Accessing Dr. Gates list of Approved Journals

The purpose of this guide to to help students in Dr. Jamie Gate's SOC 201 class with their assignments.

Instructions

For one portion of your Cross Cultural Experience Project you have been asked to cite two sources from a list of specific Anthropology journals. 

This page will help you identify where to find those journals,and how to write an annotation for each citation.

Finding full text of Dr. Gates list of journals

At the library's homepage in the center column note the box labeled Quick Search Tools.  

Select the tab Journals Directory.

Enter the journal's title you want to find.

If the journal is not full-text in a database you can still request the article with ILLiad.  ILLad provides access to articles not held at Ryan Library.
