Citing resources

Endnote is a Web-based tool for managing and citing references in papers and creating bibliographies.  EndNote has numerous citation styles including APA, MLA, Chicago (Turabian).  EndNote is available to current members of the PLNU community.  To access EndNote simply enter your PLNU network ID and password the same as you would to access campus email and Canvas.

Requesting Books from Other Libraries

InterLibrary Loan allows members of the PLNU community to request items from another library.

To request a book through InterLibrary Loan:

  1. Verify the book is not available at PLNU by searching Ryan Library's catalog.
  2. If it is not available, request it though InterLibrary Loan

Please note:

  • Ebooks are rarely available.
  • Ebook chapters are more readily obatained, but the request must include specific chapters/page numbers when being requested.
  • Books usually take 1-2 weeks to arrive.
  • Loan periods and renewals vary depending on the lending library.
