Psychology Research: Find Books

Ryan Library subscribes to over 1600 psychology e-books through ebrary.  We have even more e-books available through our eBook collection.  Here are a few examples:

WorldCat is Ryan Library's online catalog. With one search, you can find:

• Books and Media Services material at PLNU
• ebooks available through PLNU
• Articles from some of our most-used databases
• Books available for InterLibrary Loan through Camino
• Books available through WorldCat at other institutions (request through InterLibrary Loan)

A few things you should know:

• For books found in Ryan Library, the check out period is 3 weeks, with an option to renew for an additional 3 weeks.
• For books borrowed through Camino, the check out period is 5  weeks, with no option to renew.
• You can renew books online by logging in and using the "My Library Account" link in the upper right of the screen.

For articles, books, and other materials that are not available at Ryan Library:

    InterLibrary Loan

***Ebooks are rarely available via InterLibrary Loan***

• Ebook chapters may be more readily obtained than the entire book. Specify chapters/page numbers when possible.
• Books requested via InterLibrary Loan take a minimum of 7-10 business days to receive.
• Loan periods and renewal availability vary depending on the participating libraries; overdue charges will apply.
