The purpose of this research guide is to aid in the examination of the scope of the discipline of political science and the methodological skills used in the study of political phenomena.

Citing resources

Endnote is a Web-based tool for managing and citing references in papers and creating bibliographies.  EndNote has numerous citation styles including APA, MLA, Chicago (Turabian).  EndNote is available to current members of the PLNU community.  To access EndNote simply enter your PLNU network ID and password the same as you would to access campus email and Canvas.

InterLibrary Loan Requests
  • Articles generally take 2-3 business days to receive; they are delivered digitally.
    • Before requesting, check to see if articles from the journal are available in one of our databases. 
  • Ebooks are rarely available via InterLibrary Loan. 
    • Ebook chapters may be more readily obtained than an entire book. Specify chapters/page numbers when possible.
  • Books take a minimum of 7-10 business days to receive.
    • Loan periods and renewal availability vary by lending library; overdue charges will apply.
  • Please note that processing may be delayed during PLNU breaks and holidays.
