Ryan Library has 30 iPad Airs available for checkout for current students, faculty, and staff of Point Loma Nazarene University. The iPads are pre-loaded with a selection of apps. Patrons can use iPads to read ebooks, work on presentations, watch videos, check email, or share ideas. |

iPads can be checked out by any current PLNU student, faculty, or staff member. The loan period is 5 days.
iPads are checked out on a first-come, first-served basis (no holds). If nobody is waiting, an iPad may be renewed in person at the library Circulation Desk.
Patrons are welcome to download apps (at their own expense) while using the iPad, but those apps will be deleted when the iPad is returned. Any data you wish to save should be backed up to the cloud or saved by some other means.
iPads must be returned in person to the library Circulation Desk. Do NOT return the iPad in the book drop.
Each iPad is reset when it is returned. This process permanently erases all personal data and downloaded information, including apps. There is a 30 minute turnaround time for each iPad to be reset before it can be checked out again.
Late fees for the iPads and related equipment are $10 per day, per item.
